MMA camp in Tbilisi
Grappling-heavy MMA in a country that produces wrestlers.
Next session: Aug 4 – Aug 10, 2026
What this camp is and who it suits
Pick MMA if you want the widest coverage in a single week: striking, takedowns and ground work in the same daily block instead of three different gyms. It suits a fighter with a bout on the calendar, a club athlete with one strong area and one obvious hole, and a complete beginner who wants to find out which part of the sport they actually like. Beginners and competitors train in the same camp on separate tracks, so nobody is held back and nobody gets thrown in early.
Why train this in Georgia
Georgian MMA is built on a wrestling and sambo base, so the takedown and top-control work here is unusually strong.
A week is two sessions a day, six days a week — technique in the morning, live work or conditioning in the afternoon, Sunday off. What that base means in practice is that your takedown chains and your top pressure get tested by partners who came to MMA from wrestling, not the other way round. If your stand-up is decent and your wrestling is mostly theoretical, the first three days will show it and the rest of the camp will fix it.
